Hungry bear came to the people

The residents of one of the block of flats of Ust-Kamenogorsk gave the alarm at 3 a.m. The bear roared in the stairwell of their building. Residents were frightened.
"We immediately called the police - told one of them – because it is dangerous if he is hungry. " Policemen found the bear walking across the floors. They were reluctant to kill him.
Today we have no possibility to take it back to the forest. After the operation the animal was sent for bacteriological examination to determine whether the bear was not infected with rabies.
An autopsy showed that a one-year-old calf had not eaten for days. After leaving the den in April, the beast could be one if his mother had died. It is not excluded that the mother, unable to feed it because of the late spring, just leaved its calf.
