Kazatomprom and the Commissariat for Atomic Energy of France will continue to implement joint projects in renewable energy

ASTANA. April 22. knews.kz - JSC Kazatomprom and the Commissariat for Atomic Energy of France signed a memorandum on scientific cooperation, affecting the renewable energy sector, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed.
The signing ceremony was held in Paris. Kazakh delegation headed by the president of JSC "Kazatomprom" Vladimir Shkolnik, held talks with the minister of ecology, sustainable development, transport and housing of France Nathalie Kosyushko-Morisot and Director General of the Commissariat for Atomic Energy and alternative energy Bernard Bigot.
"The visit of the Kazakh delegation is particularly relevant in light of the new head of state facilities for innovative development of Kazakhstan", - noted in the report.
The parties have a number of joint projects, including construction in Astana plant producing solar panels. At the same time, Kazakhstan and France continued to discuss the program of the International Centre for Renewable Energy, which will be established in Astana.
It is assumed that the topic of the talks will continue at a high level in early May during the visit of Secretary of State (Minister) for Transport of France Thierry Mariani in Kazakhstan.
