ASTANA. June 9. knews.kz - The press service of prime minister reported that the flow of investment to fixed capital of agriculture has increased almost twice for the past five years.
"According to the current law, agricultural producers are working at a preferential tax regime, which makes it possible to direct available funds to upgrade the existing material and technical base. The flow of investment to fixed capital of agriculture has increased almost twice for the past five years ", - S. Khasenov said at the plenary session of the VII World Islamic Economic Forum on Food Security.
However, the share of foreign investment in agriculture is small, which indicates the potential of cooperation in this sector.
"The development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Islamic countries will help us to make a worthy contribution to global food security. But the development of cooperation between countries in the field of agricultural technology and innovation is necessary for solving the key issues of global food security.
