ASTANA. April 22. knews.kz - The campaign “Zhasyl zhapyrak” - Green leaf "in the country is planning to plant over 100 thousand trees and shrubs, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture informed.
Start event is scheduled for April 23. At present, in all areas prepared for planting, identified sites that are responsible for the care of planted greenery and their preservation in the future.
The action will take part more than 1 million 200 thousand people, including about 360 thousand students. Subordinate Organizations Committee of Forestry and Wildlife Service prepared more than 140 thousand pieces of plant material. Will be planted with pine, fir, juniper, birch, willow, elm, oak, poplar, maple, lilac, apple, mountain ash, plum and apricot.
Action is dedicated to the 20 th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and is timed to celebrate the World Earth Day.
